The Clear Channel Memo

Following the September 11 attacks, Clear Channel Communications (the owner of many radio stations in the U.S.) released an internal memo that contained a list of 165 songs that program directors felt were "lyrically questionable" to play. It wasn't a demand, just a suggestion that stations not play these songs. On this episode, I'm featuring songs from the list.
