97X hit the Cincinnati Tri-State airwaves in 1983. At the time, they were only one of six modern rock stations in the country. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties the station ceased operations in 2010. From 1989 through 2009 (with the exception of 2004), the station would countdown the Top 500 Modern Rock songs on all-time each Memorial Day weekend. On this episode, we look back at their top 25 Modern Rock songs from their final countdown in 2009.
